This Adobe Illustrator course looks at the powerful features in the application to enable you to create and edit vector graphics and output into various file formats.
Pre-requisites:
No existing Illustrator knowledge is required. Basic computing skills, including working with File Explorer/Finder is essential.

Objectives
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Confidently setup your workspace
- Create and manipulate artboards
- Use many tools to create and edit paths
- Master the pen and pencil tools
- Work with the colour picker and swatches panel
- Transform objects by scaling, rotating, moving, flipping and copying
- Create and edit symbols
- Organise artwork within layers
- Apply effects to add depth such as drop-shadows

- What is Illustrator?
- Vector vs Raster graphics.
- Navigate the interface, menus, tools, and panels.
- Select a Tools panel.

Creating Freehand Paths
- Create paths using the pen tool.
